His new book The Reason for God, handles those arguments and dismantles them, one by one. Keller's approach to difficult questions like:
- How can a loving God send people to Hell?
- Why isn't Christianity more inclusive?
- How can one religion be right and all the others be wrong?
Hearing Keller say things like, "Anyone who tells you that the absolute truth is impossible to know is refuting their own argument." is revelatory in that he exposes the weak underbelly of most "rational" arguments against Christianity.
This book is a great apologetic and a relatively easy read. It is exactly the tool you need when you want to hand something substantial to someone who thinks they've got it all figured out.
