Before the Conference Opens, Desiring God 2008

We walked around Minneapolis this morning while we waited for the conference to begin. What a beautiful city! It's filled with fountains, sidewalk cafes and interesting architecture:



Thanks to an angel who gave us a very special gift, we ate lunch at (where else?):

Then we headed over the the massively huge and busy Minneapolis Convention Center. The Conference will be on one of the lower levels and we were able to go down there and scope out the area. It was cool knowing that in a few short hours there would be thousands of people crowding these areas:
