YES, I'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR 10 YEARS - CONGRATULATING MYSELF

29th February 2000, the leap year. We tied the knot before the Registrar of Marriage, Mr. Lee Jin Howe that time. (Mr. Lee then became my colleague few years later, ahaha!). Dejavu or coincident? Haha. Our love story began
at university and married a year later.

Cheese cake. 1/2 kg for 5 pax? Enough. Courtesy of Taka Bakery. Marriage is very cheesy, as cheesy as a cheesecake. What we have in common binds us in every aspect. We love food, we love music. When we fight, we try the best not to exaggerate the condition for more than 30 minutes. Then, we broke the uncommon and befriend again. We're best friends, we're lovers, we're parents, we're music fans - but there are some situations, despite our sex, haha, we're uncommon like he's a hommy guy while I love outing. In certain ways, I am more brave to do something new compared to him. He's quite traditional and I'm modern. But still, I respect him as a husband and head of the family.

Our love. Miss Gabriella insisted to cut the cake with me. She was born on November 7, 2000, 9 months precisely after we've married. Bunting pelamin kata orang tua? Haha.

Celebrating together with the Kings, additional favourite cats of mine, Putin (on the left) and Baby Bujang. KLASIK SUNGGOH NAMA KUCING HAMBA. Haha.

Miss Coki is not a Miss Coki if she ain't do the cooking thingy. Pardon me, I didn't snap the pictures because everyone was like rushing to have dinner - in starvation or because I cooked Black Pepper Beef, Sweet & Sour Fish, Carrots & Cauliflower with Fried Luncheon Meat, Luncheon Meat in Sweet 'Sedaap' Soy Sauce and grilled cheese sausages. Drooling??

Hmm.. I saw this at Taka Bakery. It's their chocolate cookies name. Cool eh!

With Love,

WHAT'S UP WITH THE BOTTLE?

blogger-emoticon.blogspot.comJust a snippet from my office today. Hmm.. see the green bottle's cap? It accompanies me in the office everyday. I use them straightly after lunch. Very helpful to help me flushing. Don't you wanna know who the special friend is?

Meet the Himalaya Ayurslim capsules.

AyurSlim Capsules work in three ways to manage body weight:

1. It reduces the craving for food, thereby reducing the intake of fats and carbohydrates.
2. It leads to optimal utilization of nutrients.
3. It inhibits fatty acid synthesis, thereby reducing fat accumulation in the body.

I don't know if this works because I consume them only during daytime. After dinner, I will drink NH Detoxlim Natural Clenx Tea (yucckksss.. hahaha..) and the next morning, I would feel much, much better. I'm talking about my bowel movement.

blogger-emoticon.blogspot.comMeanwhile, still searching time to do exercise. There is no other efficient way compared to exercising.

I LUV MAKEUPS

Recently, I've been thinking to spice up this blog since it is being unattended for quite some times. Well, I don't know how to say this but I have to! I love makeup. Makeups makeup make up.... hmmm.. it's essential in my working life you know. Hihi...

And talking about makeup, well I admit it. I love them, be it expensive or just simple haul, I am dying to..... own... them ... all!!

So, how am I gonna start?? Hmmm.. OK. It begins like this. I will show you some of my makeup works and please forgive me for I am a beginner, I'm still green in this makeup thing. Anyway, I'm not really a person who worships big names like Stilla, M.A.C etc and I don't even have the Body Shop as a starter so what do you think? I always go for drugstore brands like Maybelline, Silkygirl and In2It for there are cheap and affordable. Somehow, I'm wearing them for work and other functions. Bear in mind that I am not a Makeup Artiste. Not artistically enough I bet.

I've got these babies from Everyday Minerals. They are eyeshadow and blusher. I love them so much when I tried it on my eyes, well the eyeshadow glides smoothly the color oh! Shimmery sheer I could say. Lovely. See my eyes as a prove.

Tadaaaaa!!!! It accomplished my brown eyes astonishingly.

So, I guess that's all for now. I'll be back with more tutorials and beautiful stories. Till then, hugs and kisses readers.

THE WIND OF CHANGE

Recently we have witnessed many regulations and at the same time, renovation happening in our working places. I am glad that new boss had brought drastic improvement and progress in our working styles and place. Once, my office was dull and working there was like in hibernation, full of sleepy feeling mode. Big dull grey window’s blinds, inadequate source of light and furniture arrangement’s disorder. For nearly 3 years, we worked in that condition and invisible boss who always thought that everything was for granted. Negatively, we have produced many mistakes – missing correspondence, more time consumption. Thus, it lowered down our productivity.

I don’t like to make comparison but with new boss, he changed our working style in a night! Just recently joined us in early June, I could say that we have gone through a re-branding period. The dull wall is now painted in soft brightly yellow hue, the fax machine has replaced the big bulky cabinet, which over blocking my assistant all this time. The big bulky dull greyish blind had been pulled out. Meanwhile, the boss office is now cleaner and tidier. We are still waiting for some money to do the minor renovation. Next, new maroon sofa, paper shredder, organizational chart and staff movement chart will be taking place. On personal record, my boss now had gone out to do the supervisory visits to nearly 40% of coverage of 22 hospitals throughout the state. I’m proud of his achievement.

On the other hand, my assistant is more alert and new boss had given her a very impressive mark: 97 over 100 for her performance. She deserved that because previous boss went totally out of control when he forgot to give her mark, it has affected her assessment. She was devastated. I was affected too. My old boss should have known that he is my only assessor but instead of giving me good marks, he referred me to 2nd boss who was actually on a long 7-month leave and wasn’t there physically while I was doing the best for my department. How should she know about me right?

So, my marks was slightly decreased, about 1% maybe if compared to previous year. So far, I have never lost our letters so far and if we do, they are still traceable. Oh yes, talking about manpower. I have been given a new clerk to help my other 2 bosses, which left me a big opportunity to concentrate on my own boss and I am on my way now striving and working the all best of me to achieve my dream for some sweet fat assessment points.

Hubby is experiencing the same thing, too. The new Operational Manager is like an angel sent from above. He just joined them for nearly 3 weeks now but the changes that he implemented are absolutely awesome. He reshuffled the Sales & Marketing Department from every aspect. First, all Sales Executives are given chance to use computer to do their works. Then, all are linked via LAN and have their own folder inside one computer, which will be checked periodically. All unnecessary activities like games and pornography are prohibited. Punctuality is stressed on and there is a Sales meeting being held every morning, therefore everyone must be coming to the office on time. On Saturday, they cleaned and tidied up the office. All older files were thrown and hubby is satisfied with the cleaner environment. It is more condusive now when everyone is cooperating and feeling happier than ever. This is what a true leader is all about.

What do you think about your working place?

MY OFFICE - HAUNTED EDITION

I’ve never told you about my old office haven’t I?  Well, actually the building that we occupy now is actually a Colonial era’s hospital back in 1950’s.  The place, I mean my office exactly now was one of the wards.  Creepy huh?  ^_^

My previous room, located not far from my current room was an operation theatre!  That’s creepier.  Yikes!  I’ve encountered few episodes of haunting when I was there.  There was one time, the stepbin opened itself.  I was freaked out to death that time.  Pheww!  The second time was at the tea room where I saw our ‘amah’ was washing the dishes and I was half sleeping that time.  It was during our lunch break and I took the chance to sleep there.  The third time I was disturbed after working hours but I have gone thru all that steadily.

My boss and my colleagues have experienced with some encounters too but what to do, 'we' are working and sharing the same place.

I bet a lot of you guys out there may encounter such experience as mine.  Care to share here?
