It started with the pink dogs.
I had stopped at a drug store the other day and noticed the Salvation Army store next door. It had been a while since I stopped in, so ....
The first thing I noticed was a framed picture of two dogs. They were springer spaniels and had faces sort of like my dog, Bailey. I liked the print but the matting was .... pink.
I figured I could buy the print and have it reframed. Now that I have it home it is temporarily hanging on a yellow wall. Within a few days I will love it or hate it -- but for now they are my two pink dogs!
While in a picture mood, I grabbed these two HUGE prints. They must have come out of some office. Here they are on two chairs I pulled out of my kitchen and rolled into my dining room.
As with the pink dogs, I can't decide whether to donate them to the local Legal Aid office or keep them. The strange thing was, that for some reason, the people in the store did not realize these two prints with identical metal frames and identical mattings and done by the same artist actually went together! They were in two separate parts of the store!
Here is a real treasure. Look at this vase!
I liked the colors and I liked the fact it is sturdy. I might put a plant in it. Not sure yet. I have to let things sort of ferment for a while.
This little rolling cart was actually a great find!
As with most things in life, it looks a lot better when it is dressed up or being used. Looks a lot better this way, doesn't it? And I love the wheels!
But please tell me what you think of those pink dogs.... it might take a while to get used to them! At least there was not a matching one with cats!
Thanks for stopping by.
