John Piper is on an extended sabbatical. His web site (Desiring God) remains active and pertinent. This posting on how the gifts should function in corporate settings was, I thought, spot on and very much in harmony with our teaching from 1 Cor 14 a while back. I deeply appreciate Piper's balance and tolerance combined with a sensitivity to the boundaries of sound Scriptural doctrine:
