People's Gas, ComEd and CEDA present Community Outreach Day, to be hosted by Alderman Roderick Sawyer (6th), Alderman Toni Foulkes (15th), Alderman JoAnn Thompson (16th), Alderman Latasha Thomas (17th) and Alderman Willie B. Cochran (20th), at Kennedy King College.
State, city and community services will be available for the public to access in one location:
- Apply for grants to help pay or reconnect your gas or lights
- Receive information on your pending CEDA application
- Proof of household income for the past 30 days.
- Current Rental Lease Agreement (ID required).
- Original Social Security cards for all members of your household.
- Original current electric and gas bills. (If your utilities are included in your rent payments, it must be stated in your lease agreement to receive a cash payment.)
- Proof of home ownership is required for emergency furnace.
