All New Nissan Global Car Sunny Unveiled

Nissan unveiled an innovative Chinese model that is expected to become the Sentra in the U.S.

The model carries the Sunny name in China, which we've always connected with the Sentra name in the U.S. Sentra is the second biggest car in the The Versa is Nissan's smallest car in the U.S. and one of only two vehicles (the other is from Hyundai Accent) that sell for less than $10,000 to start.

It was publicized at the China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition. After it goes on deal in China next month, it will then go on sale in 170 countries, including this one. Sunnys have cruised China since 2003, built there in a partnership.

The Chinese version has a 1.5-liter engine with dual injectors and a new-generation constantly variable transmission, instead of a standard automatic transmission. MacPherson struts are used for the front deferment and a torsion beam for the rear suspension.
