Bailey can smell spring in the air and in the grass.
The fields are beginning to wake up. You can see tractor tracks from yesterday.
Yesterday I burned the ditches where my wild flowers grow.
These lilac bushes are beginning to bud out. But you have to look close.
And the sun is setting north of the road. On the first day of spring the sun is directly over this road - or so it seems. It will keep moving north until the middle of June.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This vast, flat land is beautiful to me. It is waking up and shortly the black fields will be an ocean of growing crops and swaying grass.
Thanks for stopping by.
