Hace una semana fue el TGS (Tokio Game Show) y dentro de lo mas importante, al menos para mi fueron los siguientes juegos:

Tanto a mi como a otros 548635648641920 "fanses" de esta legendaria saga no nos gusto el nuevo look emo de Dante, sin embargo (y espero no estar equivocado) me parece que esta es una precuela que incluso pasa antes de Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening. ¿Por que? Bueno pues si son observadores se darán cuenta que al buen Dante el cabello se le comienza a poner blanco así que mi conclusión es que es una precuela, pero el tiempo lo dirá. Solo espero que el equipo desarrollador no la haya calabazeado.

Este juego promete sacarnos varios sustos al estilo Silent Hill. La música del final patea traseros.

Otro Hack N' Slash de Capcom. Se ve interesante, espero que no sufra lo mismo que por ejemplo Godess Of War, ejem, perdón Heavenly Sword.

Ah este juego no esta lejos (sale el 22 de Octubre) y se ve simple y sencillamente increíble, espero no decepcione.

Newtown, street art (Theme Day: Graffiti)

I ventured to the inner city suburb of Newtown for some attractive graffiti to feature on this theme day. This artwork appears on the side of a furniture shop on the corner of King Street and Rochford Street. Newtown is a very colourful inner city suburb where many students, bohemians, hippies and yuppies make their home. It's also a very multicultural suburb but I'm not sure why they have specifically chosen to depict Latino characters here. Anyway, my best attempt for translations of these Spanish messages across this wall are "What's Happening!", "Newtown...My Neighbourhood" and "He's Crazy!".

“Contemporary Swahili" is the Theme of 2010 Competition

16 out of 31 neo talents have been selected as semi-finalist, for the Swahili Fashion Week 2010 Emerging Designer of the year Award.

The selection which was held on 29 September 2010 at the Southern Sun Hotel where 16 emerging designers were selected by a Panelist of Three Judges. The Judges were renowned designer Manju Msitta of Smart Afrika Design Label, Charles Washoma, CEO of African Life assurance and One of Dar es Salaams Fashionable man and Director of arts Nsao Shalua of Baraza la Sanaa la Taifa (National arts Council)

The selected 16 semi-finalist will once again yet undergo an Intensive Selection to select the 8 Finalist who shall compete for the prestigious title during the Swahili Fashion Week to be held in November this year.

Swahili Fashion week Fashion Coordinator Washington Benbella Commented “The response has been tremendous, and the Zeal and zest shown by the amazing talent we have in this country is phenomenal, but the journey of those who weren’t selected should not end here and not give up on their passion”

The semi-finals selections are Zarina Suleiman, Pooja Narendrakumar Jeshang, Abduel Urasa, ShaibMfaume, Annette Ngogi, Mwajabu Sadiki, Diana Malenge, Mgece Makory, Omary Bundalah, Kelvin Boniface, Subira Rahma Wahure, Nadia. A. Ahmed, Angelina Muna, Jacqueline Chipeta, Bumi Musese and Grace Kijo.

The judges were looking at various criteria to choose the candidates based upon the designers ability to sketch, sketch attractiveness, creativity, color and thematic relation.

Swahili Fashion Week is a platform for designers - both fashion and accessory - from Swahili speaking countries to showcase their creativity, market their art and network with their clientele. This is all aimed at promoting fashion as an income generating, job creating industry while emphasizing a “Made in East Africa “concept.

Initiating a dynamic and promising platform for the fashion industry in the region, Swahili Fashion Week is geared towards being the most sought out after fashion platform in Eastern Africa for the international market.

The third annual Swahili Fashion Week will take this November in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

The competition, now in its third year has no age limit, and was open to anyone who believes he or she has the creative talent to be a fashion designer. “Swahili Fashion week is the perfect platform for a designer to showcases his creation, and the emerging designers competition, is a stage to jump start off ones career.” Added Mustafa Hassanali Swahili Fashion Week organizer

Egyptian Tycoon Sentenced 15 Years In Pop Star's Murder

A superior member of the ruling party in Egypt, Hishaam Talaat Moustafa, has been sentenced to 15 years of jail term, after quashing a earlier death sentence which was awarded to him for killing his ex- lover, Suzanne Tamim. The death sentence was detached on grounds of a technicality.

Moustafa apparently got Mohsen al-Sukkari reportedly to kill the Lebanese singer in Dubai in the year 2008. The case is much talked about in media due to the presence of an elite person.

Sources say that Moustafa killed Tamim because she turned down a marriage propose made by him, since the two were reportedly having an affair. He then allegedly paid Sukkari $2m to end the life of the singer, who rose to reputation in a talent show in the late 90′s.

The killing was done in a very horrible manner, where Tamim was found dead with her throat slit in one of the hotels of Moustafa.

Google Celebrates Flintstones 50th Anniversary Today

The Google Doodle of today refers to The Flintstones. The saga of 'Google Doodle' continues. The search engine giant Google is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Flintstone by portraying a new Google doodle on the home page on Thursday, Sep 30.

Flintstones is one of the world’s most loved cartoon sequences. It was formed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, owners of the famed Hanna-Barbera Productions, in Sep 30, 1960. Flintstones cartoon series was one of the victorious animated American sitcom and was telecasted in ABC from Sep 30, 1960 to Apr 1, 1966.

The Flintstones series portrayed a working class Stone Age man’s life with his relatives and his next door neighbor and best friend. Despite the show ended in 1966, Flintstones continue to be shown in different television channels. Later in 2000, based on Flintstones subject a movie called Viva Rock Vegas was also released.

The famous characters in Flintstones, Barney, Fred, Wilma, Pebbles, and Dino are considered as most loved cartoon characters throughout the world. The Flintstones doodle will be exposed on the Google home page for the whole day of Sept 30, 2010.

Google Inc celebrates unique moments with their Google doodles. Doodles are known as the decorative changes that are made to the Google logo to rejoice holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists. Over the past 12 years Google has created more than 900 doodles to mark special celebrations and special moments.

Guinness World Record May Title Roly Soon

Taihape has a candidate for the world's oldest dog title, but proving it is another matter. Guinness World Records' existing official title-holder is 21-year-old kelpie cross Sako from Melbourne, Australia, the Mail reported.

And British media last week informed that Billy the Yorkshire terrier, at 22, was the world's oldest dog. But Janise and Mike Seal of Taihape consider their dog Roly matches that milestone.

"So does that make him world famed? We think so, particularly here in Taihape," Mr Seal said.

The Seals got Roly when he was just about six months old from a residence where he was not treated very well and has been with their family ever since.

"We approximate his age to be about or nearly 22. We cannot prove his age, just going on the age of our daughter Natalie, when we brought him home she was seven years old and now she is 28 – so do the calculation yourself."

When he was taken to the Veterinary a month before he was given a clean bill of health, apart from being hard of hearing. "Roly has life too comfortable and is certainly not ready to go to dog heaven just yet."
